Con il galà di premiazione si è chiuso il Montecarlo Tv Fest 2009, la rassegna dedicata alla serialità del capoluogo Monegasco che ha ospitato quest’anno, tra gli altri, Matthew Fox (Lost), Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer), Eric Close (Senza traccia), Kate Walsh (Private Practice) e Kyle MacLachlan (Desperate Housewives).
A dominare la quarantanovesima edizione è stato Mad Men, la serie tv della AMC che ha ottenuto tre Golden Nymphs come miglior produttore di serie drammatica, miglior attore (John Hamm) e migliore attrice (Christina Hendricks). Stesso risultato per la serie francese Desperate Parents. Un premio anche a The Tudors (miglior produttore europeo), Dr. House (miglior serie drammatica), Desperate Housewives (miglior serie comedy) e Beautiful (miglior soap).
Dopo il salto tutte le serie premiate al Grimaldi Forum di Montecarlo.
